Sweden’s rental housing crisis has made it nearly impossible for young people to find a place to live. In major cities, wait times for rental apartments can stretch up to 30 years, forcing Gen Z to delay independence or settle for unstable living situations.

Patience may be a Swedish virtue, but for Gen Z, waiting in line for decades to rent a home feels outdated and unfair. They’re ready for a smarter, faster way that matches their lifestyle, pace, and expectations.
